Hi, I updated the web browser to 12.15 about a month ago, have noticed that the browser seems to have become a memory hog, a la Firefox (which made me use Opera, to start with). I have 64-bit Windows 7 SP1 installed on my Acer notebook, and have only one add-on - AdBlock - installed in the 32-bit version of Opera installed on my system. Had removed other add-ons after having a harrowing time in one of the previous versions recently, when having more than 2-3 add-ons would crash the browser (which Opera later rectified in 12.14 I think). Does anyone face similar issues of memory of over 300 Mb being used by Opera even if only one tab in one window is open ? Also, when is Opera likely to release the next version of the browser ? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References forums.opera.com/topic/14/opera-12-15-for-windows-a-memory-hogwhiteboard explainer animation
